Yes I am back (although I never really left) I am currently chilling at home, deservedly after a long hard semester. Anyway, lately I have been really bored, facebook and wikipedia temporarily relieve the boredom but it's always there. I tried writing a novel but the most I did was outline the plot and name the characters, I haven't (and probably will not) started the novel yet.
The football (Euro 2008) was a good boredom reliever, so was the amazing Wimbledon Championships- Wimbledon was so good this year and culminated in a trilling men's final.
However ever since Wimbledon ended it has been a constant search for something to engage myself in, I am due to teach my little brother how to ride a bike (that should be fun) - Mind you when I say little I mean he is younger than me, 14 ain't exactly little, and at 14 he should be able to ride a bike.
I just ordered a novel- "Half of a Yellow Sun" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, a Nigerian author, the book is set in Biafra during the Nigerian Civil War, I have heard great things about the author and the book so it should be a great read.
I'll hopefully find something to get my teeth into to relieve this boredom, but hey I'm happy I can be bored, it means there's nothing to do, if boredom is the price of hardwork, then bored I'll be!
