Movie Update

Yes yes y'all, and we don't stop. So, I'm just back from London, so great to see new family. I had a chill time. We were supposed to go see Blood Diamond with Djimon and DiCaprio, but damn when we got to the cinema it was packed, there was a line of people waiting to get in, I was like 'Sweet Mother Jesus', I've never seen a theatre so full. Anyway, we skipped on the cinema tip, headed back home and rented 'You, Me and Dupree' it wasn't all that funny, it was aiight. So, anyway, so far I've seen The Last King of Scotland, and The Pursuit of Happyness.

Watching the POH made me cry, I can't remember the last time I shed a tear during a movie, but Will Smith's performance is so touching, I found myself shedding tears (well, one tear) Moving on.....I saw LKOS yesterday, Oh My God! Forest Whitaker is amazing, damn, it's beyond acting, it's supernatural, I mean, his transformation into Idi Amin is something else. Poor Leo, because, this year's Oscar has to go to Forest. Leo is gonna get it next year, thats if Denzel doesn't sneak up with American Gangster. So, yeah LKOS is a well made movie, has a very genuine, African feel to it, Authentic!

James McAvoy did an amazing job as Nicholas Garrigan, and Kerry Washington was the wifey as usual, she is hotter than the sun in the Sahara. (she must be Nigerian) anyway, I'm gonna see Dreamgirls soon, can't wait to see wifey- that's Jennifer Hudson! Smokin Aces with Lishee Baby and Common was off the chiney, and Taraji is so beautiful, and gangsta.

Movies to watch out for- Catch a Fire, Hot Fuzz, The Kingdom, Bobby ohhhhh!! "AMAZING" *with Oprah enthusiasm*

When I started this blog thing, I thought I was gonna be consistent, you know like writing stuff every other day. Haha, little did I know of the perils of University life. So many essays and things to do that I just can't be arsed to write blogs.

Anyway, this week I'm free, and I'm going down to London to see my Auntie, I'm excited and stuff. William and Marlene left yesterday, we had fun!!! Although William slept almost all through Marlene's visit. We went to see Rocky Balboa at the cinema, the movie was goooooooooood!!! came back, Marly slept on the bed, I on the ground, and William spent all night playing games. Anyway, I'm eating 'Penne and Sweet and Sour Sauce' now, mmmmmm delicious. There's no work to do. This is bliss

Im Back, and I'm Black

Yay, its 2007, thats right its Two double O seven. Its a new year, and I know, y'all wanna know what my new year's resolution was. Ok, 1st- stop cussing or swearing whatever u won' call it. Yeah I have replaced Shit with Ish (but shitty remains) and I no longer use the F word- Fuck. I still say Nigga tho- thats not swearing.
My other resolution was to stop procrastinating, when I get homework- do it on time. Well I have been terrible in that aspect. I didn't do ish throughout the break, even tho I took 6 books home, I simple lagested and ate chicken, watched Malcolm X, and ate chicken. Laughed with my dad while we ate chicken. Read up all the gossip while I ate chicken. So now Im back in Sunda-land, and Im just beginning to start on work- Im so effed up. But I'll be done.
Today I almost bought Kingdom Come it was 6.95, but I saw a better deal- Two DVDs (Assault on Precinct 13 (new version) and Desperate Measures) for 5 bucks. I was like Nooooo, im Jays biggest fan, but this bargain was just unbearable, so I shed a tear as I replaced Kingdom Come on the shelf, and picked up this amazing bargain. cool. so since I left all my DVDs at home, i currently have 3, Glory, Assault on Precinct 13 & Desperate Measures, Coach Carter and The Seven Year Itch should arrive soon. After that I'll begin my Sidney Poitier collection! yearee. Hmmm, Im thinking, one of these days I should go and disturb Miss Koslowsky over in Castle(New) well, when Im done with the ishloads of work i have. 2day its Library all through. Thank God I finished my EastEnders essay. Anyway, ahhhhh I had Cornish Pasty and Pizza for dinner- You damn riiiiiiiiight, the ish was gooooooooooooooooooood.

I dont wanna learn. I want to be a rapper. or a military dictator like Forest Whitaker.

Jennifer Hudson better win, or imma start a riot or sumthin. Beyonce will win best OST for Listen. and give Anika Noni Rose best smile awards- her smile is radiant. and Kelis- best award- coz she's da Best. and Ashanti best laugh award- so contagious. anyway thats all I gotta say now.
